FORM IN MOTION
The instrument,
completed.
Custom reels extend the machine’s design into its moving parts. Shape, weight and finish are considered together.

A lightweight material palette
The studio works with aluminium alloys, magnesium, titanium and carbon-fibre composites. Selection depends on the design, its dimensions and the engineering requirements.
From a sketch to a balanced set
A commission moves through discussion, CAD development, fixtures, prototypes and final machining. Geometry and balance are assessed before surface finishing.
Finishes with continuity
Anodising, powder coating, polishing and integrated metal lettering can coordinate the reel with the instrument. Designs are developed as individual sets rather than a standard stocked range.
Plan your commission
Bring visual references, your machine’s details, preferred dimensions and an outline of your budget. The studio lists several reel sizes and advises allowing time for design revisions. Obtain a current quotation, schedule and written terms before proceeding.
